I ♥ New York - Du Mont

I like to get out of Manhattan once in awhile, away from the crowd, away from the busy city life. Du Mont is an American cuisine restaurant in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. It's outdoor garden dinning area is completely different from the outside. It's very relaxing and makes you forget about the busy city life out there. I went there twice. Once with Ann, once with John. It's Mac & Cheese with bacon is delicious! Du Mont is also very famous for its burger. If you are tired of the city and looking for a place for delicious food and relaxing environment, Du Mont is definitely on top of the list.

I ♥ New York - Serendipity

I love the word Serendipity. Life is full of surprises but somehow it seems everything is all planned for us in some way. Its a new year ahead and I strongly believe that there will be more great surprises waiting for me, both good and bad :) and that's what makes Life so FUN!

"Serendipity" is a really cute movie and reminds me of my wonderful times in New York. I have been to the restaurant many times, however, I am never tired of its signature Frozen Hot Chocolate!

Ice ♥ Cream

I love ice cream! The first time I had this yummie sweet potato vanilla ice cream was with Ann a couple years ago :) Last week I took my sister there and she loved it! Ice cream is always the best thing after a long day work, hours of shopping, a treat for yourself during study/work break, etc. Ice cream is the biggest evil during my diet!

I ♥ New York - Greenwich Village

Sitting in Washington Square Park with a Magnolia cupcake in hand is probably the best thing in a sunny afternoon. Magnolia is in Greenwich Village next to the Marc Jacobs specialty store. In this little bakery, there is always a crowd. Sometimes there is even a long line outside.

One of the favorite things I love to do is to randomly walk around the city. One afternoon, I walked from Union Square to Greenwich Village. On the way, I walked pass byA Salt n Battery. It is a very authentic British place with delicious Fish n' Chips. Who would have not stopped by and had a bite of the delicious fish n chips?

I miss Boston! I miss the snow, the New England architecture, the food and the cold! Boston is a really nice city. When I was in Franklin, I used to go to Boston every other weekend. There are many fun places to go. One of my favorite places is the riverside and bridge between Harvard Sq and Harvard Business School. It is indeed a very romantic and relaxing place to go for a walk with yourself, your friends or your beloved.



I took a trip up to Boston from NYC in December 2009, a week before Christmas with John. Even though I had been to Boston many times before, however this trip was the most memorable and fun. I got to explore and enjoy the beautiful city more. Another place I like a lot is North End Little Italy. The small streets reminded me of Europe and its famous Mike's Pastry is indeed worth a try!

I ♥ New York - Alice's Tea Cup

The cutest tea place I've ever been in NYC! It is a lot bigger than Tea & Sympathy in Greenwich Village. There are more than a hundred kinds of tea for you to choose. My favorite is its Christmas tea and Alice's tea :)

I went a couple times with my girl friends and John. It is indeed a very nice place to hang out with your friends while you enjoy the delicious tea and food. P.S. Its smoked salmon sandwich is the VERY BEST I have ever had in my life!!
