Studying CFA at 1am and guess what? I am so hungry! suddenly a picture of pasta flashed back in my head. ha-ha I had one of the best Italian pasta in Boston, North End little Italy! It's funny that when I was studying in Franklin the whole time, I had never been to North end in Boston. During my senior year in NYU, I took a weekend trip to Boston with Ann. Even though both of us had been there for many times, we were still like tourists, exploring the city like it was our first time. It was really memorable and fun! A lot of walking, a lot of stupid picture taking and mostly a lot of eating!

♥ Macau - Wynn
Amazing cake and chocolate at Cafe Esplanada at Wynn! One of the boss bought us cake from there at work today! :) It totally made me day at work, completely changed me from super stressed to feeling happy for 5 min. Can't wait to go there with my mom and sister next time and try out more cakes. Its cheesecake is so yum too! too bad I don't have a picture of it :P

I ♥ New York - Grimaldi's
Talking about the best pizza in NYC, I would say definitely Grimaldi's under Brooklyn bridge. No matter weekdays or weekends there are always a LONG line outside. but no matter how long the wait is, it worth the wait! I had been there three times, it was amazingly delicious. Every time I got so full and walking across the Brooklyn bridge back to Manhattan is the best exercise. View is very nice. One of the best place to take pictures of the city. Just writing this post makes me hungry already! haha

♥ Washington DC - Tryst
I was going through my old photos and came around an album of my first trip to DC with my friends last year. That long weekend happened to be Valentines Day weekend so we decided to treat ourselves a nice dinner at Tryst. Even though we had reservation but we still ended up waiting for an hour before we were seated. Food and its cocktails were great! The curry beef was delicious! I had ordered the Hot Sexy Legs for dessert. Just the name itself makes the chocolate cake sounds so yummm! It was a great night after all the walking and sightseeing in the city :)

I ♥ New York - Magnolia
I have been craving for some delicious dessert for a long time! All of a sudden, Magnolia pops up in my head. Life would be perfect if I were sitting in Washington Square Park eating Magnolia's choco cupcake with banana pudding! It's not just normal cupcakes, its one of the best in the city. Its banana pudding is also amazingly delicious. Every time I go to East Village, Magnolia is almost a must go! One time I even brought them on the plane with me to California and my aunt and cousins all love it. During weekends, there is always a long line outside this small bakery. I would say its like one of the landmark in East Village, right next to Marc Jacobs.

♥ homemade dishes in NYC
Started to fall in love with cooking and trying out new dishes the last couples months in NYC. It was so fun especially sharing your homemade food with your beloved everyday.
Looking at the pictures reminds me of how great life was back then. Aww I wonder if that was what it feels like to be a housewife lol

♥ San Francisco - Cafe Mozart
Now that John is back to Davis, that makes me miss California very much! I had a very nice dinner in SF last time when I was there. We went to Mozart (ranked as the no. 1 romantic restaurant in SF on opentable) It was very cozy and cute! I liked it a lot. When I was little, southern California is always my fav place but thanks to John, now that I had explored more about Northern California, I actually like it a lot too! Tahoe is a BEAUTIFUL place - the scenery is beyond description. Maybe my next post should write about my trip to Tahoe 4 months ago :)
