♥ Sixsenses - Into The View

The second day during our stay, we went to another Island during the day. Being exhausted in the evening so we took an hour power nap and headed to the dinner buffet at Into The View. In the morning, it serves breakfast buffet.

After dinner, we took the tram back to the main building and chilled at Into The Pondering for a bit with free wireless internet. I generally love this whole place a lot!

♥ Sixsenses - Into The Beach

After chilling on Bon Island in the morning, we took the boat back to the resort and right next to the pier there's a restaurant called Into The Beach. Just as all the restaurants in the resort, the view is fantastic. I also like the place where it looks like a nice dining place but makes me feel like being on the beach at the same time given the whole place is build on sands.

yummm yay I am enjoying my lunch

♥ Sixsenses - Into Thai

The best way to end a relaxing day at the resort was a nice yummie authentic Thai dinner. We tried Into Thai and not just the view is amazing, the food is very good too.

♥ Sixsenses - Evason Phuket

Had an amazing heavenly Christmas trip with Dear John. We stayed at Sixsenses - Evason Phuket resort for 5 days and its fantastic. It's not one of those brand new resorts but I love how the whole place is designed to be a getaway from the city. It also has a private island and only 15 min boat ride will take you to Bon Island with beautiful beach. We spent one whole day without leaving the resort, enjoyed its nice restaurants and relaxed by the infinity pool. The little boat drive to Bon Island was fun and very relaxing. I wish I could stay there for a few more days!

♥ 風月堂

Recommended by a friend. I was amazed by its dessert menu by how many varieties they have! Too bad my stomach was not big enough to try more. I really like its spinach creme pasta with prawn. As for now, I have to say say byebye too all the yummie food. Just by looking at the pictures make me hungry haha!

♥ HABITU Ristorante

Sunday brunch with friends at Habitu Ristorante a few weeks ago. Food was okay but extremely slow and bad service. It took us almost one hour to have our omelet ready. The only thing that attracted me was its desserts (especially for a dessert lover like me). Unfortunately, all the upcoming posts about yummie food and desserts would be backblogged since I am now on a very strict diet for my Christmas trip in Phuket!

♥ Eat Pray Love

"...and love is always complicated. But still human must try to love each other. We must get our hearts broken sometimes. This is a good sign, having a broken heart. It means we have tried for something"

"If you want to control things in your life so bad, work on your mind. That's should be the only thing you are trying to control. Drop everything else but that. Because if you can't learn to master your thinking, you are in deep trouble forever."

I have finally finished reading Eat Pray Love (gonna watch the movie soon even though I've heard its not as good as the book). It's life inspiring even though I can't really relate to the "pray" part with yoga and meditation. But some of the things in the book are very meaningful about life.

♥ s i f t

Dessert for dinner ♥ I guess we were there too early (at around 8pm) so the restaurant was empty. Food is yum (but too little food) and I think the whole place is overrated by reviews in general. Comparing with the price, the food and the environment, I'd say Max Brenner is so much better! Oh Why don't they open Max Brenner in Hong Kong?

♥ Cafe Gray Deluxe

Happy 23rd Birthday to me! Spend a great long weekend in Hong Kong for my 23rd Birthday. I must thank all my beloved friends to celebrate my birthday with me in Prive. I had a great night there! As for my birthday dinner this year, John took me to a place with spectacular night view

Time flies. I had spent the past 3 birthdays in New York City and my good friends have always been there with me including John. Still remember my awesome birthday dinner at 21 club last year and super fun clubbing with friends. I am really happy to have him being here for me all the time through the good and the bad

♥ Chasing Harry Winston

It's been more than a year since last time I finished a novel in a few days and was able to be away from either technical guide or CFA books. It just feels so incredibly good to enjoy reading something that's not finance related and feel that I actually have a cultured life again.

Chasing Harry Winston definitely makes top 3 on my favorite booklist. It is very inspiring in terms of relationship and career. Very often, the person you love the most isn't someone you have been with for years or someone known as the perfect husband material. Sometimes Mr. Right just pops up out of the nowhere and changes your entire life.

There is one part about the book that I find it quite amused. I thought the "Game" in relationship is something people love to play in high school and college. But I was amused that somehow this "Game" works perfectly well in the adult world too. However, I am never a big fan of the game and in fact I hate it. I still prefer to do it in the old fashion way - be myself and go for the man I want the most in life. Who cares about this "Game" - rejecting the guy while you hear yourself screaming "Go jump on him" in your head, right?

There is one particular line in the book I like very much "Everyone knew that crazy passion or great love affairs cooled after the first few months or maybe a year. What mattered was finding someone who would be a good partner for a long haul. Who would stay by your side, be a good husband and a good father."

Don't be afraid of changes. Life is one big adventure. Get out of your comfort zone and live the life the way you want it. The most interesting and exciting about life is you never know what happens next. Let your life be filled with surprises.

♥ Oct 1 Fireworks

First time watching Oct 1st fireworks in Hong Kong and first time watching fireworks up above :) On Friday night, John and I watched the fireworks from Cheong Kong Center 62nd floor and it was amazing (without lining up for hours outdoor haha!)

Afterwards we were too lazy to go LFK and instead we stayed home, chilled, drank some wine and ordered pizza hut. What a relaxing Friday night with my loved ones...

♥ Horizon @ Crown

Mid-Autumn Festival lunch @ Horizon in Crown Tower with my family. Given that I have to rush back to the office after work, we did not have time for its 3 course lunch set. Instead we have ordered its pasta set. The caesar salad is really yummie! Pasta is okay but I like the enviroment. It's not crowded and the window seat view is nice.
