♥ Letters to Juliet

I realized that almost all the posts I wrote before are about food but today I wanna write about something else. I have watched the trailer of Letters to Juliet many times and after watching the video about making the movie makes me wanna watch this movie even more! It is gonna be out in a week and I just can't wait.

I am very into this kind of love story - so pure hearted and touching. Dear John is one of my all time favorites. Its about a story between a soldier and college student which touches the deepest part of my heart and makes me miss my dear John even more!

I always wonder why do all the most famous love stories (literature/movie) have a heart breaking ending? Is it because happy ending is not as romantic? To me, they are not romantic at all. Indeed, they are purely tragic and when it comes to reality there is nothing romantic about it.

All the classic love stories such as Juliet and Romeo and Titanic end with death and they are known as the most romantic stories of all time. I'd rather to have a less dramatic experience and being able to simply spend my life with the person I love. I don't need "life or death" to prove my love. I just want to live life and experience love in the most pure hearted and simple way.

♥ Pommes Frites

Tried Ireland's Potato this past weekend and made me miss Pomme Frites at St. Marks very much! This is the best fries I have ever had in NYC... well I should say in the world! There are so many different sauces for you to choose and my all time favorite is pineapple mayo and mango mayo!

♥ Smoked Salmon Egg Benedict

I had a really nice Sat with John this week. Our initial plan is to have bbq in Macau with all my friends but thanks to the stupid weather, we were forced to postpone. So instead, I went to Hong Kong before John leaves for NYC on Monday.

First thing in the morning after I arrived - Brunch! Waited for half an hour and got seated and without looking at the menu, we both ordered smoked salmon egg benedict :) The liquid egg york together with the smoked salmon on English muffin is amazingly delicious!

After brunch, we headed to Pacific Place and watched Toy Story 3D. What a cute movie! In fact I had never watched Toy Story 1 and 2 before haha but it is definitely a YES for those who haven't watched yet. The 3rd best thing of the day is that I bought a new macbook and I am so happy right now using it to update my blog while lying in bed!

♥ Wildfire

Another weekend spent in Hong Kong :) yup I know I said I was not going but oh well it was a nice shopping day with my dad. At night I was randomly walking in Elements with John and its always a pain to think of places for food! In the end, we decided to try Wildfire and the lamb had made my night :)

Im looking forward to this coming Sat - BBQ at Ha Sa Beach and that will be my last crazy meal before my diet officially starts while John will be in NYC for training for a month. haha!

I ♥ New York - East Hamptons

The ridiculous heat just reminded me that summer is finally here! I love summer the most because of the sunshine and beach. Unfortunately, now that I am back to Macau and summer here is just way too humid and too much rain which makes me blue.

Seeing my friends facebook status about going to Hamptons makes me jealous. Last summer Karen and I took a train up to East Hamptons for a day trip and the place is just amazing! Hopefully I will be rich enough one day to get a enormous house with a private beach there one day haha Looking at the pics gives me more motivation to work out cos from that I have realized how much weight I have gained since last summer :(

Inspired by my previous Dan Ryan's post, I've decided to show everyone my favorite burgers!! It is so hard to find good burgers in Macao. McDonald's burgers are nothing compare with what I am going to show you in a second. Most of the burgers I had were so big that I couldnt just bite it like I normally do!

I have been struggling the whole night on Sat whether I should go to brunch club on Sun morning to have the smoked salmon egg benedict that I've been long for for a week or lunch set at Petrus. hehe and of cos I didn't regret going to this 2 star Michelin restaurant for lunch :) I like the view which makes me awake on Sunday noon but too bad the food makes me have food coma afterwords.

One of the best things in life is to enjoy food with the people you like and I enjoy doing that with my boyfriend John very much! :)
